He is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), specialising in international arbitration, construction law, energy and natural resources, and cross-border dispute resolution. Admitted as a barrister and solicitor in Nigeria and as a barrister in England & Wales, Emonye brings over two decades of experience advising multinational corporations, governments, and developers on complex infrastructure and energy project.
His expertise covers major PPP and infrastructure projects, modular refinery developments, and energy sector transactions, as well as acting as counsel and arbitrator in high-value disputes under LMAA and UNCITRAL rules. Emonye has represented clients including international contractors, state governments, and exploration and production companies on project finance, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance, providing pragmatic, commercially focused solutions throughout the project life cycle.
Emonye leads on supporting clients across construction, energy, and financial services. Known for his strategic insight and hands-on project management approach he combines legal precision with commercial acumen. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and Notary Public, Emonye regularly contributes to judicial and professional training on arbitration and infrastructure law.
